Not The Same

Queen is touring again.  They sound terrible without Freddy Mercury.  They shoudn't do that.  I mean, come on, nobody could ever be as good as him in Queen.  He had all four of his wisdom teeth, so his front teeth would stick out way further than they normally would.  He would spend hours practicing forming his words.  He really worked hard on making his mouth perfect so that he could perform on stage perfectly.  You just can't beat that.  This new guy  must feel pretty damn awesome, replacing a musical god.  What the hell were they thinking?!  I would never pay money to see that.  That would be like going to see Aerosmith without Steven Tyler or Joe Perry.  It just isn't right. Joe Perry left the band back in 1979.  Sure, they had some really awesome songs on the album that came out that year (Night in the Ruts), but it just wasn't the same.  Joe Perry makes it.  Know what I mean?  The same goes for Led Zeppelin.  Sure, they still have Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones, but they are missing one key player: John Bonham.  "We wish it to be known that the loss of our dear friend, and the deep sense of undivided harmony felt by ourselves and our manager, have led us to decide that we could not continue as we were," the note was simply signed "Led Zeppelin".
Journey isn't the same without Steve Perry.  Sure, the asian guy sounds just like him, but he isn't him.  Here is why he is so awesome.

(p.s. cick on the picture to get the full effect.)
