Check It Out

I am running on a very small amount of sleep that I got this weekend.  I was doing an all-weekend youth group thing this weekend.  I got less than four hours of sleep the first night and, although much more than the first night, the second nights sleep was interrupted many times.  I slept in the living room and the front screen door kept making noises because of the wind all night long.  It was really fun, though.

I wrote an essay-type thing for my English class.  The rough draft that was in pen took up one page front and back and one half of the front of another page.  When I typed it out, it only took up about half of a page.

Needless to say, I was really pissed off.  Oh yeah, that's something that I have to do today.  All of my homework.  Not only is my brain working at one third of its capacity, I have to do all of my homework like this.  I feel like it's nine o'clock.  Maybe even closer to 10.  Lethargy to the extreme.

Soccer is Awesome...

...and I miss playing it.  I wish that I could play, everyone was so nice and I really liked it.  It was a lot better than doing... well, nothing.  Jenna was an awesome coach.  Well, I am assuming that she still is, I just haven't gotten the chance to play lately.  I hope I can still be involved somehow.

post script:  have I mentioned how much I do not like the word 'gotten?'

The Custodians Are Trying To Murder Everyone

    Part one
The second day of school was a wednesday.  The second class in my second day of school was a math class.  We, as a whole, although not including the teacher, not in two groups but one, were going to the library to get out text books.  On one of the higher steps I slipped, tripped, something, and fell down the stairs.  Unfortunately for me my head was hurting quite terribly and when I explained to my fourth period teacher, she made me go to the office.  I had to fill out a really bothersome form.  Oh, actually, it wasn’t me that had to fill out; it was a really annoying new nurse that filled the form out.  She kept asking me really dumb questions that would have taken so much less time for me to write out myself.  Address, home phone number, parents’ names, etc.  Then, she molested my scalp without any warning.  I said “What are you doing..”  She told me that she was a nurse so it was o.k.  It was not o.k.  I did not like that one bit, which is why I told her that.  She stopped, but the damage had been done.  I avoided the nurses office and I shall continue to do so.  She's so creepy...

UPDATE:
Part two
My seventh period teacher (and one of my absolute favorite teachers) handed me a bandage strip when I asked to go to the office to get some ice for my head.  Oh, the things you will learn from him..  Hilarious teacher.  Really smart.  Also the knowledge bowl coach(?).  I am excited for it this year.

I Got New Coats

In Eastern Washington, which I loathe by the way, I found a wonderful store.  A store with a lof of the things that I like.  Jackets, for instance.  Old jackets.  I bought four jackets and an entire suit.  I also bought about a dozen scarves.  The store that I went to was the senior citizen thrift shop.  I met a gal there that seemed to be in her late forties or early fifties.  She gave me her number and told me to get ahold of her the next time I was in the area.  She is going to sell me wicked cool records for about a dollar apiece.  Bands like Credence Clearwater Revival and Fleetwood Mac.  I am so excited.
